Those defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to other political parties in Delta State would be the losers in 2027, the Senior Political Adviser (SPOLAD) to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo has declared.
He made the declaration while addressing the leaders and executives of the PDP, Ethiope West local government chapter who paid him a visit, yesterday.
According to him, God has made Delta a PDP state and no real party man will be afraid of 2027 because PDP is sure of f victory, emphasising that pockets of defectors would regret their moves in 2027 because they are going to be the losers.
While enjoining PDP members, particularly in Ethiope West local government area not to fear as Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will be re-elected in 2027, the Senior political adviser urged party members to be strong and firm in their support for the party.
He explained that Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated that he is a detribalised Deltan and a governor for all, stressing that the governor was executing projects in all parts of the state, irrespective of ethnicity.
Hon Aguariavwodo pointed out that the governor had embarked in development and empowerment in all the local government areas of the state because he want Deltans in diaspora to visit and appreciate what the administration was doing, pointing out that health, agriculture, education and human capital development were getting required attention.
He urged party faithful to remain steadfast and support the present administration as the governor will execute more projects, empower more Deltans and give appointment to party members, adding that PDP Ward eight will continue to benefit from the administration of Governor Oborevwori.
Earlier, the leader of PDP Ward Eight, Hon. Benjamin Oboh, who led the Ward Chairman, Mr. Clement Okorodiden, Ward Youth Leader, Mr. Isaac Akpoyibo and others, said they were in the political adviser’s office in a courtesy visit and to to run minds on party affairs.
