A Twenty-three-year-old Deltan, Chukwuyem Edoki has bagged a first class degree from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.
Edoki, an indigene of Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, graduated from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering (Computer and Soft Ware Development option)
He was among the 115 students who were conferred with first class honour at the university’s 36th convocation ceremony held at the weekend
With a GGPA of 4.53, Chukwuyem Edoki is best graduating student in the department’s Computer and Soft Ware Development option.
Chukwuyem Edoki who gained admission into FUTO in 2019, was a former student of College Of Education Staff Model Secondary School, Agbor where he excelled, particularly in Mathematics.
Speaking with The Pointer on telephone, the elated Ed o k i lauded the institution for equipping him with the necessary skills to excel in the world of work.
He attributed the feat to cons i s tent hard-work, dedication, commitment and focus, just as he noted that; “in all, God takes the Glory”.
He appreciated his parent s whom he said, have consistently urged him to keep aiming for the best, just as he noted that the best is yet to come.
On his part, his Father, a Deacon in the Baptist Church, Mr. Ngozi Edoki expressed appreciation to God for the positive testimony even as he noted that; there is nothing impossible with God”.
