.Says, No Going Back On Timely Completion, Delivery

The Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Olorogun John Nani has assured of timely completion and delivery of projects across DESOPADEC mandate areas.
Chief Nani stated this, Wednesday, when he inspected projects across Jesse and Oghara, both in Ethiope West Local Government Area.
The projects inspected included: Doge Road Jesse, Ovie Agbroko Road with drainage, Jesse, Oyibo Road Jesse, Shalom Road in Oghareki- Oghara, Baptist Church Road in Oghareki Oghara, on-going electrification of Omoja Street in Oghara and water project.
The DESOPADEC Chairman was accompanied by the member representing Urhobo Ethnic Nationality in Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West, Hon. Julius Egbedi and other management staff.
Addressing questions from journalist during the inspection, Chief Nani said, all ongoing and completed projects will be commissioned in due time.
He urged the people to continue to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration as there will be harvest of projects before April.
“We have visited Jesse and Oghara and we are pleased with the current level of on-going work, with majority completed.
Apart from Hon. Egbedi, other ethnic representatives are working, and we will be conducting inspection of projects in other mandate areas in the upcoming weeks,” he said.
In the same vein, the member representing Urhobo ethnic nationality in Sapele, Okpe, and Ethiope West, Hon. Julius Egbedi, said he was satisfied with the level of jobs done across his mandate areas, adding that the testimony from the residents speaks for itself.
Speaking to some members of the community in Jesse and Oghara communities, Mr. Alex Ogheneochuko, a resident of Ovie Agbroko road, in Jesse community, commended the State Governor and Olorogun John Nani for bringing the dividends of democracy to their Community, adding that, he has not only fixed the road, but also constructed drainage in order to prevent flooding.
Also, the youth secretary of Oghara community, Mr Muyiwa Onofeghara said, prior to DESOPADEC’s intervention on the road, people had challenges passing through the road. He said vehicles could not ply the road, thereby, forcing people to trek long distances.
Another resident of Doge Street in Jesse, Mrs. Maria Ogbekele commended Olorogun John Nani for rehabilitating Doge Road, saying “the road was very bad but after DESOPSDEC fixed it, people now enjoy plying the road. We are happy that this administration is constructing roads in our community.
