THE Gospel Light International Ministries (New Covenant Gospel Church) also Known as House of Excellence in Asaba, Delta State, has described The Pointer Newspaper as a trail blazer and very impactful in the journalism practice in the country.
In a letter to congratulate members of the board, management and staff of the newspaper outfit to mark 30th Anniversary, signed by the Senior Pastor, Rev Augustine Oyem, he eulogized the corporation for impactful journalism in our present day society.
While quoting from the book of Proverbs 22: 29, the church said, “It is our sincere prayer that with the dedicated team, the corporation will continue to excel in the journalism profession and the Lord will grant his grace, wisdom and divine enablement to accelerate progress in years ahead”.
