90 Percent Of Call Girls In Asaba, Not Deltans, Says Oborevwori’s Aide, Arimobi

The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Female Youths Development and Convener, ‘The Power of Her’, Amb. Engr. Miracle Arimobi, has revealed that 90 percent of call girls in the state capital were not indigenes of Asaba.

Arimobi disclosed this while addressing Journalists during the media parley at the NUJ Press Centre in the state capital

She said most of the girls parading at night time on the streets of Asaba in search of male partners were persons from across the Niger.

The governor’s aides said it was discovered after a data analysis from her office on over 180 girls, that they were from Imo, Anambra and Enugu State, adding that just few persons were from Delta State.

According to her, many of them were been lured into the act by pressure from parents, adding that poor parenting has resulted to their involving in prostitution.

She urged parents and guardians to show greater commitment in the up bringing up of their children and wards, but any child around them in the fear of God.

Speaking on her upcoming event, scheduled for October 18 with the theme “Sheriff Dey With Her”, she said it would give hope to the girls by raising leaders amongst them

She said the event will have female Vice Chairmen across the Local Governments, wives of Council Chairmen, female Commissioners, female members of the State Assembly, the Secretary to the state government, Kingsley Emu, amongst others in attendance.

The founder of the ‘Power of Her’ initiative called for support from members of the NUJ.

Earlier, the State Chairman, Council of the NUJ, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, said the media parley was meant to interface with public office holders and also for them to inform the publics on their performance.
