Oborevwori’s More-Agenda Has Impacted On Deltans, Says Odogu

THE Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Community Development, Hon. Emakpor Odogu, has highlighted the significant impact of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s More-Agenda on community development in Delta State.

He made the remark during a television programme in Asaba.

Hon. Odogu praised the Governor’s efforts, particularly in infrastructural development, noting that Oborevwori’s administration has brought transformative changes across the state’s three senatorial districts.

He mentioned the recent creation of theMinistry Riverine Infrastructural Development headed by Commissioner Ebikeme Clarke, in response to local demands.

He pointed out that Warri has become a hub of construction activities with notable projects at PTI Junction, DSC Roundabout, and Enerhen Junction, carried out by Julius Berger, saying that travellers passing through the state would be surprised at the level of development.

According to Hon. Odogu, apart from road infrastructure, the Government has approved substantial funding for medical equipment at Central Hospital, Warri and Teaching Hospital, Oghara and he is set to renovate 150 health centers across the state.

He also noted a significant financial commitment to primary education with Exco’s approval of N3.55 billion counterpart funding to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to enhance primary school education.

Hon. Odogu emphasized that the MORE Agenda has positively affected all the 25 local government areas with a prompt approval of road projects in 23 local government areas in a single Exco’s meeting held recently. He praised the harmonious relationship between state and local governments which has fostered rapid community’s development.
