I am on bended knees because I know it is only you I can come to with an issue like this. My husband has been using me to borrow money from my mum and when it is due to pay back, he will not keep to his words.
I have lost a lot of money and accessories to him because he always promises to return it but never; for once, has he kept to his ledge. My issue now is that he wants me to tell my mum to lend him N1.5 million from her Cooperative Society in the office, while he pays in installments every month. I refused because I know he will not pay back and it might end up giving my mum high blood presÂsure. This has been the issue in the house since I refused to do his bidding. Now, he is threatening that he will abandon me and the kids if I do not do what he asked.

I am sorry to use these words on your husband but I think he is a greedy and lazy man. I will not blame you for trying to help your husband’s business grow. But since returning the favour has proved futile, I support your decision not to help him again. If he wants help from your family let him be man enough to go to them himself. Do not allow his threats bother you. He should be ashamed of himself for relying on your family for financial support. He should be the one providing for them and not him rubbing them off the little they had just because he is married to their daughter.
He has not proved himself to be a credible borÂrower by paying the previous loans he collected and here he is asking for another. I advise you that you do not try it. If he wants to divorce you because of this, then let him go ahead as long as you did not do anything illegal. Moreover, you have been taking care of yourself and your child without his help.
