THE Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor has lauded the achievements of the Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse 111 since his assumption of the royal throne, three years ago.
Rt. Hon. Guwor, in a congratulatory message to the royal father on his third coronation anniversary, noted that his three years’ reign on the throne has recorded tremendous peace, unity and sustenance of the cultural heritage of the Itsekiri nation.
The Speaker in the congratulatory message made available to journalists by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, particularly extended his heartfelt felicitation to the monarch, just as he felicitated with the Itsekiri nation, particularly those from Warri South West Constituency, where he represents in the State Assembly, on the 3rd anniversary celebration of their king.
According to the Speaker, the anniversary marked a significant milestone in the reign of Ogiame Atuwatse III, even as he expressed joy for being a part of those celebrating the achievement.
He acknowledged the immense progress and development the Monarch has brought to the Warri kingdom and commended his efforts in promoting peace, unity and cultural heritage of the Itsekiri nation.
The Speaker, on behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly, congratulated Ogiame Atuwatse III, on the coronation anniversary celebration and assured him of every legislative support in his commitment to the wellbeing and prosperity of his people.
Guwor prayed to God to bless the Olu with more wisdom and for his reign to continue to experience peace and harmony, ahead of many more years of celebrations in the kingdom.
