The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Godbless Keneke has promised to facilitate the building PDP Secretariat in the council area.
The Bomadi LGA party chairman stated that the project was achievable and would be one of the legacies his executive would proudly leave behind.
Keneke, speaking shortly with journalists after the inauguration ceremony of the 25 PDP Chairmen and executives of the local government chapters at the PDP Secretariat, Asaba asserted that the party had done so much for the Bomadi local government area, therefore, they needed to build an edifice to house its activities.
The Bomadi PDP boss called for more united leadership, followership, and a purpose-driven executive to rally around leaders and other stakeholders in realizing the set target for their tenure.
The new Bomadi PDP chairman thanked the party hierarchy and members for the rancour-free congresses, and the general acceptance of their emergence to lead the party for the next four years.
He charged them to offer their wealth of knowledge to the executive to enable each member to be guided while performing their duties.
Keneke and his executive further paid a thank-you visit to Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu, member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Hon. Preyor Oboro, member representing Bomadi Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Barr Funyei Manager, Commission Special Project, Chief Barry Gbe, Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor.
Other political leaders visited including, Hon Kelly Penawou, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr, Newworld Safugha, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Renewable Energy.
Speaking in the same vein, at the respective residents of their leaders, Keneke reiterated the utmost need for a PDP to build a Secretariat in Bomadi town, being privileged to have the pioneer state chairman of PDP, Senator James Manager, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu, the longest-serving National Assembly member, and other top PDP political leaders.
