RESIDENTS of Orerokpe, headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area in Delta State and the ancient town of Oha were thrown into confusion following the sudden death of a former youth leader of Oha Community, Mr. Friday in a fatal motor accident along the busy Effurun-Orerokpe-Eku road.
The fatal accident took place at a sharp bend between a truck and the bike the deceased was riding on. Our correspondent, who was at the Orerokpe General Hospital to see the victim, met a mammoth crowd of sympathisers mostly Orerokpe and Oha youths.
It was further gathered that the youth leader, who sustained fatal injuries on his forehead and two legs died on the spot.
Some of the sympathizers who spoke to newsmen lamented the untimely death of the youth leader and prayed to God to grant the Oha Community and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
