KQHHF Distributes Education Materials To Primary School

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Kings and Queens Helping Hand Foundation, has distributed education materials to Aba-Ato Primary School In Asaba.

The initiative was tagged “Back To School Project. The Chief Executive Officer Kings and Queens Helping Hand Foundation (KQHHF), Ambassador Blessing Esemuede, the gesture was aimed at getting children back to school with the distribution of educational materials to pupils, particularly underprivileged children in Aba-Ato Primary School.

Esemuede remarked that the gesture was also to make life comfortable for the beneficiaries at the beginning of the new school calendar.

“It is part of our commitment towards empowering underprivileged children by intentionally giving back to the society.  She expressed how overwhelmed she feels that one of the foundation’s commitments is being backed with actions and deeds.

“We have been able to carry out nine different projects in less than eight months with the ‘Back To School Project’.

Esemuede further explained that five hundred pupils benefited from the project with the distribution of customized notebooks, pencils, biros, Erasers, rulers, sharpeners, water bottles, shoes and school bags. She urged well-meaning Nigerians to come on board in bringing smiles to the faces of the less privileged in the society.

Speaking also at the event, the Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogu represented by the Chief Inspector of Education (CIE) in the ministry, Djoma Emiliana described the gesture as laudable, worth emulating and should be encouraged. Also, the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Caroline Oburo, applauded the efforts the foundation and prayed God to reward the initiator.

Earlier the Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church, Ibusa road Asaba, Pastor Sam John who was represented by his assistant, Pastor Chibuike Onuoha, advised individuals to collaborate with parents and community to foster children’s development.

The Special Guest of Honour, Reverend Emmanuel Nwankwo, appealed to the state government and our amiable Governor Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to partner with the foundation for a lasting positive change among children particularly the less privilege in society.
