CHAIRMAN of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North, Comrade Lucky Olerhimena Ofomukoro has called on the party faithful to be united for the development of the party and working relationship.
He made this call during an inaugural meeting with to chat the way forward in uniting all aggrieved members and embraced a cordial working relationship.
Addressing faithful at the party secretariat in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Olerhimena Lucky Ofomukoro said “This gathering is to welcome all our LGA executives, the newly inaugurated ward chairmen, secretaries and elders and leaders and to the strategize the way forward.
According to him, “There is the need for all to embrace unity and cooperation at all levels and looked forward for future elections.
According Ofomukoro, “I am honoured to meet with the newly inaugurated Ward Executives and other key stakeholders, especially since this is our first meeting the LGA Executives is calling to formally meet and brainstorm on the way forward.
“As a party, we must understand our responsibilities in forming cordial working relationship at all levels down to the grassroot.
“As we look forward to 2027 general elections, let us remember that our unity is sacrosanct to break the jinx of winning elections in the council and for us to achieve it, all hands must be on the deck
“While I plead with everyone to embrace peace in our various ward and units with all stakeholders and members of the party, I believed together we can overcome every challenges and change the narrative in the council in 2027.
“Internal challenges may arise, but our strength as a party lies in our unity, so let rally round the party interests and shun personal and leaders interests for the success of our great party”, Ofomukoro said.
