IKA South Local Government Chairman, Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, has assured the people of the area of his administration’s commitment to their wellbeing.
He gave the assurance, when he inspected some projects at Alihame and Agbor metropolis, being executed by his administration.
At the Alihame Modern market, the Chairman expressed satisfaction with the pace and level of work, and praised the contractor for doing an excellent job.
He said the market, which foundation was laid about two weeks ago, would cater for the needs of the people of Alihame and surrounding communities.
He pointed out that Alihame, being a university community, with a steadily rising population, deserved a befitting market that would cater for its huge demography.
He advised the people to regard every government as theirs, and, therefore, adequately protect and manage them well.
Also, at the Abude Street construction site, the Chairman, after inspecting the extent of work done, expressed optimism that the project would be delivered as specified in the contractual agreement.
He commended the contractor for speed of work, and urged him to continue to maintain the tempo.
Ehiwarior thanked the people of Ika South for their support, and promised to remain steadfast and focused in delivering the dividends of democracy to them.
At both project sites, enthusiastic residents applauded and prayed for the chairman, and assured him of their continued support.
