THE Board of Directors, management and staff of Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), yesterday, paid tribute to a former Board member, friend, and colleague, the late Hon. Augustine Emeye (JP), who recently passed away, aged 86.
According to a statement signed by DPPC Board Chairman, Olorogun (Dr.) Ebenezer Okorodudu JP, Emeye was known for his passion and dedication in setting the agenda for what the corporation has become, adding that, the Board, Management and staff were saddened to hear of his demise.
The statement further reads, ‘’. Indeed it is difficult to capture the sense of loss we all feel. We pay tribute to him and to the energy he brought to our profession and our lives as staff, friends, and colleagues.
‘’We cherish his role, character, and collaboration while on the Board and for quality improvement, and performance optimization to mention just a few. He exemplified life, love, laughter, and an irrepressible gift to support and mentor others.
‘’While we are comforted that he is now reunited with his creator, our sympathy and prayers go out to his family, friends, and colleagues.
