A frontline youth leader and the chairmanship candidate of the ‘Yes Together We Can’ team for the 2024 Obodogwugwu youth election, Comr Friday Osadi has promised to sanitize the community and transform the area for more development. Osadi disclosed this in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area while speaking with journalists. He said that he was in the race not only to win but to change the narratives in Obodogwugwu to return the quarter to its pride of place, adding that elders in Obodogwugwu would also be accorded their due regard.
Osadi noted that the women whom he acknowledged were not being considered in the allocation of land due to the culture and traditions of the community, would be properly empowered under his leadership. The candidate said that he would put skill acquisition by the youths on the front burner of his administration, stressing that a vote for all candidates of his team was a vote for the massive transformation of the Okpanam community.
Also speaking, the candidate for the Secretary-General’s position under the platform, Ugochukwu Olele and the vice chairmanship candidate of the team, Ben Madu appealed to the youths and elders in Obodogwugwu quarters to give their candidates their support and opportunity to serve them.
