Three person kidnapped In Ogwashi Uku

NO fewer than three persons were allegedly abdicated in one day in Ogwashi-Uku metropolis.

The three incidents were reported to have occurred somewhere around the residential area of Agidiehe farm road.

The area is one of the fast developing area in Ogwashi-Uku metropolis and situated behind the headquarters of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

A reliable local vigilante source who confided on our correspondent disclosed that the first victim was trailed with motorcycle as he was heading home.

According to the source, those on the motorcycle were the ones feeding others who have laid ambush somewhere close to the victim’s house as he was heading home.

“These men were welding AK47 and were masked. They attacked the victim immediately he highlighted from his vehicle and picked him up after shooting sporadically into the air to scare intruders who might want to dare them.

“The second victim was abducted before he could get to his house. This was also in the same area. But this time around, the hoodlums riddled the man’s car with bullets.

“They shattered the back windscreen of his vehicle and even shot directly at the drivers side, probably to kill the man.

“We suspected the victim was trying to beat the kidnappers which led to the shooting. Eventually however, they succeeded in abducting him”, he disclosed.

Although the third victim was also abducted, circumstances leading to his kidnap remain hazy as at the time of filing this report.

According to the local vigilante source, efforts to rescue the victims that night was not successful as the kidnappers had succeeded in moving them deep into the bush.

He, however, hinted that they are working day and night to see how the victims could be rescued unhurt.
