THE Executive Chairman, Oredo Government Council, Dr.Tom Obaseki has embarked on a guided inspection tour of the ongoing projects in the Local Government, namely; renovation of Ogbe Primary School, rehabilitation and landscaping of Ore-Oghene Primary School, construction of Victor Avenue/Omoruyi Street off Oguola and Erhunmwuse Streets amd construction of Azama Community Road respectively.
At Ore-Oghene Primary School, Mrs. Ogbemudia Helen (Headmistress) and the PTA Chairman of the school appreciated and commended the Chairman for the laudable project and for giving the school a new look making the environment conducive to the pupils for learning.
Pastor Desmond Idegor of Omoruyi Street thanked the Chairman for his good work and advised other local government Chairmen to emulate his good works. He noted that the road had been in a deplorable state for a long time and that the project will bring further development to the area.
Speaking at the end of the tour, Dr. Tom Obaseki stated that he is impressed with the pace and quality of work done so far despite the delay caused by the bad weather.
He noted that the infrastructural update is inestimable and major as it will greatly improve the lives of the people. In his words, “Oredo is just getting started, the citizens deserve the best infrastructure. In the next 3 to 4 weeks, the projects will be fully delivered”.
