THE Board of Trustees of Issele Mkpitime Empowerment Hub Foundation has invited applications from eligible Issele Mkpitime indigenes for its scholarship scheme for the 2024/2025 academic session.
According to the Chairman of the Board, Chief Mike Mgbanwa, the award is for Issele-Mkpitime indigenes (father or mother must be from Issele-Mkpitime) already admitted into the university and those who have passed UME, adding that the scheme is specifically to favour financially challenged students.
He revealed that N700,000.00 have been approved for the 2024 to 2025 academic session, stressing that the Foundation scholars are expected to maintain an equivalent of 3.5 grade point average (CCPA) or they lose the award.
According to Chief Mgbanwa, to qualify for the scholarship award, each candidate must have a letter of admission into the university, letter from the Obi of Issele Mkpitime or President General of the town’s federal union and matriculation number, among others.
He advised interested applicants to forward the following: name, matriculation number, university, quarter (Ogbe), course of study and telephone number to 08036022956, 08032115656, 08037410975 noting that submission of applications will end on November 30, 2024.
