THE Michael Anoka Foundation (MAF) has successfully launched its business grants empowerment programme for Ogume Women and Youths.
The Foundation, an initiative of the Delta State Commissioner for Urban Renewal, empowered over 100 women and youths in Ogume community with business grants and startup capital, during the launch.
Anoka, while speaking revealed that he got inspiration for the initiative from the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori’s D-CARE initiative, as MAF aims to deliver democratic dividends to Ndokwa West constituents and Deltans.
The event drew a large crowd, with beneficiaries receiving vital business tips to maximize the grants. Mrs. Ruth Iyachi, a beneficiary, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to MAF, praising Hon. Anoka’s commitment to helping the community. “Honestly speaking, Michael Anoka Foundation hasn’t ceased to amaze us in Ogume. He has greatly been a blessing to our community in many ways, and I am grateful for yet this empowerment he has initiated. May God continue to bless him.”
Mrs. Oghenerobo Anoka, representing her husband, emphasized MAF’s dedication to empowering the people and fostering growth.
While speaking at the occasion, Mrs. Robo Anoka asserted that the Micheal Anoka Foundation (MAF) will continue to be a medium by which the people receive dividends of democracy. She expressed gratitude to God and praised her husband for his vision of creating more entrepreneurial initiative and commitment to empowering the people and fostering growth.
