A Non-Governmental Organization, Denkelly Charity and Empowerment Foundation has organized entrepreneurial training and business mentorship for the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa.
Disclosing the purpose of the empowerment, the Founder of the Foundation, Mr. Agholor Dennis Kelubia said the two-day training was an opportunity to provide participants with practical skills and valuable mentorship to enable them to explore career opportunities in the Cosmetology industry and beyond.
According to him, over 250 students benefited from the career-empowering program. He said, this will not be the last of its kind, as the Foundation intends to do more empowerment programs soonest.
Present at the event were renowned industry experts, which included, the MD/CEO of Dynamo Group, Hon. Aneto Onyema Samuel; Senior Special Adviser to Governor Charles Soludo on Business Incubation, Hon. Anajemba Ike; and the CEO of Fedora Hate and Bridal, Founder of Anambra Business Vendor Community, Mrs. Ezeani Chetta.
In appreciation of the empowerment program, a final year student of the University, Rita Obi, expressed her gratitude to the organisation for organising the training on how to make Air freshener, liquid soap, Dettol, Germicides, and Antiseptics, among others because most of the things are convertible to cash and consumed daily.
