“The 6th administration sets for herself three cardinal goals; to develop and build a befitting secretariat for the LGA; to expand the membership strength of churches and ministries in the PFN through the collaborative efforts of all executive members; and to emphasize the preaching of the undiluted gospel of salvation offered to all men by our Lord Jesus Christ, proclaiming the second coming of Jesus Christ.
“We by the special grace of God and with your support have fulfilled all obligation to the Province and the state as well as the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN in Ughelli North in our first year in office.
“In line with our agenda for membership increase, almost all the mega churches in Ughelli North have been brought into the PFN fold. “The vision of our founding fathers for a befitting secretariat was boosted on Thursday October 24, when the foundation of the project was laid at Ododegho, near Eruemukowhoarien by the immediate past state Chairman of PFN, Bishop Dr Kingsley Enakirerhi.
In his homily, Bishop (Prof), Chris Okoh, titled: “In A Time Like This,” the Man of God described the time as frustrating with many people leaving the country.
Bishop Okoh said there was global economic recession and many pastors had resulted to gimmick to make ends meet, while sin was on the increase, He said the youth were not left out as many had taken into drugs, prostitution, fraud and shedding of innocent blood.
The man of God urged Christians to be more committed to the service of God and run away from every appearance of sin, emphasizing that the difficult times should not be taken as yardstick to doing things contrary to the will of God. The ceremony was rounded off with presentation of award to the immediate past state Chairman of PFN, Bishop Dr Kingsley Enakirerhi and other pastors.
