THE councilors of Aniocha North Legislative Arm have paid a diplomatic visit to the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the local government area, Dr. Charles Ochei, to express their appreciation and reaffirm their loyalty to the party’s principles.
The visit, which was a gesture of unity and respect, also recognised the pivotal role the PDP has played in the councillors’ political success. They extended their gratitude to Dr. Ochei for his guidance and the support provided by the party throughout their political journey.
During the visit, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Raphael Uzor, acknowledged the immense influence of the PDP in securing their electoral victories. He reiterated the councillors’ unwavering commitment to the party, emphasising their dedication to fostering a stable environment that would benefit the people of Aniocha North.
In his response, Dr. Ochei commended the councillors for their dedication to service and stressed the importance of loyalty to the PDP, urging them to work closely with the party’s leadership at all levels. He also called on them to support the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in its efforts to advance the development of Delta State.
Dr. Ochei further encouraged the councillors to avoid actions that could undermine peace, stressing the need to embody the party’s values of respect and unity. He reminded them that their roles as elected representatives should set an example for progress and cohesion within the council area.
