THE General Manager of Royalakas Security Company and Uvwie-born political analyst, Michael Oboro, has praised Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for his efforts in improving the Federal Government’s East-West Road in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area. Oboro, who serves as, expressed his appreciation during an exclusive media interview in Effurun last weekend. He highlighted the ongoing multi-billion-naira flyover project in Effurun, stating that once completed, it will significantly uplift the East-West Road’s appearance. Oboro emphasized that the East- West Road begins in Effurun, where the flyover construction is currently taking place. He noted that prior to this project, the Effurun Roundabout area and sections near the Ebrumede Roundabout were in a deplorable state, particularly around the popular inter-city commercial transport hub.
“With the ongoing flyover project, these previously neglected areas are now receiving attention, and the completed flyover will transform the road’s appearance,” Oboro remarked. “This is why I believe our hardworking Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, deserves appreciation— even from the Federal Government.”
Oboro also commended Julius Berger, the construction company responsible for the project, for the high-quality work done so far. He urged commuters to be patient with the temporary traffic congestion caused by the construction and called for the deployment of additional government traffic officers to manage traffic in the affected areas.
