BY PEACE AIKHUERE-CALEB

As part of activities to mark 100 days in office, Majority Leader of the Sapele 8th Legislative Arm and Councillor representing DSIEC Ward 12, Hon. Eruteyan Samson has empowered his constituents.

Marking the milestone with a thanksgiving service at Face-to-Face Assembly in Sapele, Hon. Eruteyan also empowered 20 constituents with grinding machines, cooking gas cylinders, and gas cookers.

Speaking at the thanksgiving service, the Presiding Pastor, Teacher Happy Overah, emphasized the importance of gratitude, referencing Psalm 100:4. “It is good to give thanks to God, for He alone grants us the ability to achieve,” Pastor Overah declared, urging all to maintain a heart of praise.

The ceremony transitioned into a grand reception at the residence of Chief Eugene Inoaghan, where Hon. Eruteyan distributed three grinding machines, ten cooking gas units, and six gas cylinders to constituents.

The lawmaker described the gesture as a demonstration of his commitment to providing tangible benefits to the people of Ward 12.

“I am here to serve and ensure that my people feel the dividends of democracy. This is just the beginning; I pledge to do more,” Hon. Eruteyan said, eliciting thunderous applause from the audience.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Ejiro, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the recipients. “Hon. Eruteyan has shown that he is a man of action. We will continue to support him and the PDP to ensure victory in the 2027 general elections,” she said.

The event was graced by an impressive lineup of dignitaries, including Sapele Council Chairman, Chief Bright Abeke, immediate past council boss, Chief Eugene Inoaghan, and Hon. Ayemidejor Austine, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, among others.
