THE Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme has commended the developmental strides of Oshimili North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Innocent Esewezie.
Sir Onyeme made the commendation during the launching of the Oshimili North Local Government (ONLG) Development Agenda blueprint titled ‘PUTA-IFE M.O.R.E AGENDA’ at Sweet Spirits Hotel, Okpanam.
Onyeme, while applauding the efforts of the council Chairman, said Esewezie’s second term will bring more limelight to the good people of Oshimili North.
Describing Esewezie as a man of vision, character and an achiever, who had done well during his first term, he said his achievements will probably be one of best in the state.
He said with the chairman’s strength, character and proper planning, he is going to make the agenda a successful one and charged other local government area chairmen to emulate him.
The Deputy Governor assured Esewezie of the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s support and synergy with the local government councils to ensure that prosperity, good health, good education are taken to the grassroots.
Meanwhile, Onyeme also, recognized public private companies, acknowledging them for their good works, adding that the state government is ready to partner with them if willing, as it is for the purpose of providing good life for the people and also for the betterment of Delta State.
