DELTA State government has declared zero tolerance to incompetent projects’ execution in the state
The Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Chief Patrick Ukah, disclosed this during the flag off of Leo Okonweze street off Ezenei Avenue in Asaba.
He said the government will not spare anybody who is in the habit of delivering projects that are substandard.
He charged contractors to go back to site as any delay that will result in a demand for upward review will not be accepted.
While commending the contractors for kick starting the projects at the right time and season, he enjoined them to maintain the pace so as to receive the praises for job well done.
The Director General said with the availability of all that is needed to have the job done, they are expected to commence work without delay, adding that there will be close monitoring till the end of the projects.
He said the flag of the two roads that link into villages in Asaba were testament of the fulfilment of the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda to Deltans.
