Residents of Jenta Adamu, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, have lynched some cult members causing mayhem in the area.
It was gathered that the incident occurred yesterday morning when the suspected cult members invaded the community, attempting to rob residents of their belongings.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Plateau State Police Command, Alfred Alabo confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen.
The PPRO said prior to the incident, the Command received a report through a distress call from a concerned citizen of the area, that “at approximately 09:20 am, a group of yet to be identified cult members had invaded their community and were attempting to rob law abiding citizens of their belongings”.
