Delta State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs Rose Ezewu has stressed the need for people to show love and forgive one another in the spirit of Christmas.
Ezewu said this during the Christmas Carol organized by all public secondary schools in Asaba under the auspices of ANCOPSS in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Inspector of Education for Oshimili South.
Represented by the Chief Inspector of Education, Oshimili South Local Government Area, Lady Emiliana Djoma, the commissioner urged participants not to lose focus but to remember the true spirit of the season.
She said that Christmas was a time of kindness, love, generosity and coming together of families and friends to share the wonders of what she noted was a special time of the year. The Commissioner explained that it was not possible to spread love and hate or light and darkness together.
