THE Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ika North East Local Government Area, Hon. Chuks Agbomah has called on party faithful in the council to mobilise support ahead of the July 13, 2024 local government election.
Agbomah made the call during the PDP Council election visit in Ward 3 and Ward 4 in Boji Boji Owa. According to Agbomah, the call he said has become very necessary as only maximum support from the party members during the council election could translate to victory for the party., He said that the PDP, like no other party, has attracted numerous democratic dividends to people in the area. While thanking the immediate past governor of the State, Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa for his immense contribution to the development of the area and the entire state.
The party chairman said that he was using the opportunity of the party campaign tour across the council area to unveil the aspirants and also to strengthen the party cooperation, loyalty and support through their votes during the local government council election He used the medium to encourage the youths and all various communities in the council area to remain steadfast, just as he said that the party would continue to give the people in the area leadership support through good governance.
Hon Agbomah urged the party supporters in the council area to ensure they mobilise more supporters ahead of the council election as the party’s victory in Ika North East is assured. In his remark, the party’s campaign Director General in the council, Emeke Asiwe told the campaign team that the PDP in Ward 3 would continue to support the party.
Addressing the party supporters during the campaign tour in Boji Boji Owa, the party chairmanship aspirant, Hon Monday Odigwe, urged the people to support the party through their votes in the election so that they could deliver their vision for the development of the council area.
