Comrade Samuel Fejokwu

THE Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocol, Comrade Samuel Fejokwu, has called on the people of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State not to break the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s governance structure at the grassroots by voting another party in the July 13 local government elections. He said voting for PDP will to ensure the continuity of practical development, youth empowerment, peace and security and human capital development as entrenched by the PDP since 1999.

Comrade Fejokwu, who said this while addressing party faithful in his Ward Two, Onicha Ugbo, said Aniocha North local government area was predominantly PDP since the present democratic dispensation hence the chain should not be broken.

He told the people of Onicha Ugbo to remain resolute and supportive of the PDP and show the party’s dominance with the strength of their votes during the July 13 local government election by electing all PDP candidates. Comrade Fejokwu, a former Public Relations Officer of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), Delta State Council, said the candidature of Hon Bazim Chinye as Chairman for Aniocha North is the political tonic needed at the moment to turn the area around with his GAINS Agenda, hence the need to support him and the party.

The governor’s aide, who is also the Director, Media and Publicity of Ward Two, Onicha Ugbo Campaign Council, advised the people to shun mischief makers, who do not mean well for the growth and development of Aniocha North and follow the positive trend of the party by voting PDP all the way; from chairmanship to councillorship, in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy. Comrade Fejokwu lauded Senator Ned Nwoko, Hon. Ndidi Elumelu, the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi, the Commissioner for Information, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza, Dame Nkem Okwuofu and other leaders for working closely with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to advance the development of Aniocha North and sued for continued support.

He affirmed that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was irrevocably committed to the pursuit of his administration’s policies and programmes in line with his MORE Agenda to better the lot of Deltans, adding that in the last one year he had set the template of good governance, prudence, focus, dedication and commitment, which were all the hallmarks of exemplary leadership.
