PDP Delta To Reclaim All Elective Seats In 2027 – Oghenesivbe

DIRECTOR-General of Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr. Fred Oghenesivbe, has assured that the party will reclaim all Senatorial and House of Representatives seats come 2027.

He gave the assurance while speaking as guest of Rize FM Warri-106.7 FM yesterday, saying that the enviable performance, visionary leadership and good governance strides of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori shall resonate with eligible voters at the polls in future elections.

Oghenesivbe said, those who willingly betrayed PDP after using her platforms to win elections in 2023 by defecting, may be consumed by multi-faceted factions within Delta APC, pointing out that defecting to attract publicity is one thing, while it is another to win election after the defection noise had died down.

He assured that the media fanfare associated with defections shall be short-lived with no significant gains for the defectors either now or at the polls in 2027.

He assured that PDP political supremacy in Delta State shall be sustained and upscaled via the instrumentality of Governor Oborevwori’s good governance, visionary leadership, political bridge building and strategic political partnership, as well as political sagacity of party leaders across board.

“Those defecting from PDP to APC in Delta State have no genuine reasons to do so. They are free to exercise their constitutional rights to freely associate, but PDP shall continue to be the dorminant party.

“Governor Oborevwori is working very hard and the party’s leadership is strategizing as we navigate into the future,” Oghenesivbe said.
