He commended the Chairperson of NASME, Delta State Chapter, Lady Judith Nwachukwu and members for the visit.

“I’m aware of your activities. SMEs are the engine room of economic growth of any society that wants to prosper. They constitute a significant portion of Nigeria’s economic fabric, contributing substantially to GDP growth.

“It is of interest to me as the Director of Projects, DESOPADEC because it is instrumental in shaping the economic landscape of our oil-producing communities. By generating employment, especially among our youths and creating grassroots economic well-being, we will be able to reduce unrest and all forms of social vices.

“The collaborative efforts of entrepreneurs and government can chart a course, such that the success of SMEs will become synonymous with the progress of the entire nation”, Okorodudu said.

He however, urged the group to address their request to the Managing Director of DESOPADEC.

Earlier in her address, Nwachukwu while congratulating Okorodudu on his appointment as Director of Projects in DESOPADEC, said their visit was to seek support and partnership of DESOPADEC to strengthen SMEs in Delta State.
