THE Chairman of Udu Local Government, Hon. Vincent Oyibode has announced the immediate commencement of grading of the Oleri Community road, aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by residents due to its poor condition.
Oyibode gave this assurance during the thanksgiving ceremony of Hon. Sophia Gbejegbe, the Councilor representing Oleri and Egiegi communities. He acknowledged the deplorable state of the road and emphasized the urgent need for swift action.
“I understand the challenges our people are facing with this road, and I want to assure you that grading will begin immediately,” Hon. Oyibode said. He also pledged to work closely with Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to ensure that the full construction of the road is achieved.
The Udu chairman urged residents to remain patient and supportive as his administration continued to tackle infrastructure challenges across the local government area.
Oyibode concluded by reaffirming his commitment to delivering impactful projects that will improve the lives of the people of Udu Local Government Area.
