THE Chairman, Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Isaac Agbateyiniro, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to all shop owners in Pessu Market, directing them to commence use of their shops or risk forfeiture.
In a statement released at the weekend Hon. Agbateyiniro emphasized that the directive was part of his administration’s broader development plan under the MORE Grace Agenda, which aligns with the Delta State Government’s MORE Initiative.
He noted that the move was aimed at boosting commercial activities in Warri South, ensure optimal use of market spaces, and prevent hoarding of shops that could be utilized by active traders.
Agbateyiniro reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering economic growth in Warri South, urging all stakeholders to cooperate in achieving a vibrant and operational market environment.
