The Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Professor Nyerhovwo Tonukari, is set to deliver the 111th Inaugural Lecture of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, scheduled for Thursday, next week.
The lecture, titled “Biotechnology: From the Laboratory to the Factory,” will take place at the 750 Lecture Theatre A, Site III, DELSU, Abraka, and will commence at 11:00 AM, with guests and stakeholders in the academic and scientific community expected to be seated by 10:30 AM.
The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Delta State University, Professor Samuel Asagba, under whose leadership the university continues to advance in research and technological innovation.
As a Professor of Molecular Biotechnology with vast experience in research and academia, Prof. Tonukari is expected to shed light on the transformative role of biotechnology in industrial development and its real-world applications beyond the laboratory.
The lecture promises to be an insightful discourse for students, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals interested in the future of biotechnology.
