AHEAD of the 2027 governorship elections, a political pressure group christened ‘PDP Youth Force For Sheriff Oborevwori Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency’, has constituted a committee to plan for its formal inauguration coming up soon.
In an enlarged meeting held, yesterday, at the groups Secretariat in Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North Local Government Area, the Chairman, Comrade Lucky Ofomukoro, disclosed that the mission of the group was to support, create an effective and far reaching awareness of the development strides of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and woo more supports for his re-election come 2027.
“We gathered here today first to introduce to us the executives of PDP Youth Force For Sheriff Oborevwori in Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency and to also introduce all local governments and wards coordinators to us. We are also here to constitute the planning committee for our formal inauguration coming up in no distant time.
“Our inauguration is going to be a massive event that will tell the story itself that PDP is in charge and come 2027, we are prepared to deliver a working governor to get MORE development.
“We are living no stone unturned as we are fully committed and prepared to get to the grassroots and canvassed for more supports for the re-election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori come 2027.”
The 15 man inauguration planning committee is headed by Comrade Kelvin Gbomah, while Comrade Ochuko Omorere, emerged as the committee Secretary.
The group also discussed various strategies to mobilize more youths and grassroots support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s re-election bid in 2027. The members expressed their commitment to working tirelessly to ensure the governor’s victory in the upcoming elections.
The inauguration planning committee is expected to work tirelessly to organize a successful event that will display the group’s support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. The group also plans to use the event as an opportunity to engage more youths and grassroots supporters in the governor’s campaign.
The PDP Youth Force For Sheriff Oborevwori Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, is determined to rally behind Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and contribute to his successful re-election bid in 2027. The group is confident in the governor’s ability to deliver more development and progress for the people of Delta State.
