LP Chairmanship Candidate Commiserates Family Over Son’s Murder

The Chairmanship Candidate of the Labour in Ika South Local Government Area, Mr Monday Izeh has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Joseph Phillip, a staff at Agbor Plank Shade who was murdered by members of Anioma Security Watch in Agbor.

Izeh was accompanied by members of his party during his visit to the bereaved father of the deceased, Mr Philip Egbokwu and other members of the family.

While commiserating with the Egbokwu family, Izeh said that all the members of the Labour Party mourned with the family and urged them to take solace in the Lord as the perpetrators of the killing of the 29-year-old young Joseph would not go unpunished.

While reminding vigilante groups of their duties to secure lives and property and not to kill, he called on the Police and other relevant authorities to help investigate the murder of Joseph and punish all persons who tortured him to death.

Responding, Mr Philip Egbokwu thanked Monday Izeh for the visit, noting that his family would remain grateful to him. He appealed to him to help them get justice for Joseph who he described as innocent.
