Okorodudu Advocates Support For Genuine

BY CHIKA KWAMBA

The Chairman of the Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), publishers of The Pointer titles, Olorogun (Dr) Ebenezer Okorodudu has advocated support for clergymen who are genuinely dedicated to propagating the Word of God.

Olorogun Okorodududu made the advocacy, today, when he was awarded a membership certificate of Alpha Ministers Prayer Forum International, an international prayer intercessory forum.

The recognition was done during the 2024 Nigeria Global Prayer Conference held at Calvary Bread of Life Ministries in Asaba, the Delta State capital, with the theme “Arise” having in attendance ministers across the state.

Speaking to The Pointer in appreciation of the membership certificate received, Okorodudu recounted his encounter with the prayer ministry, their integrity and valid international networks.  His words, “I am happy to receive this prestigious membership certificate from an unblemished ministry. I have received numerous awards, from doctorates to ambassadorial awards, and now a membership certificate.

“These are credible men of God who are not after wealth. They go about organizing programmes across the globe without seeking support. They have been a good support system to the present administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and I look forward to the very day the government will recognise them.  ‘’I, therefore, call on Deltans and other prominent bodies not to relent in supporting genuine men of God. I advise other ministers to study, emulate and toe their footsteps” Okorodudu said. Earlier, the Convener and International President of the group, Dr Henry Wawe, charged all ministers of God not to remain in their comfort zones as prophetic faith remains dormant without action.

At the second charge, the host and State Pastor of Calvary Bread of Life Ministries, Asaba, Stanley Eruemulor fumed at men of God who leverage evangelism for the sake of enriching themselves, and families and to receive accolades for pulling crowds.

The cleric lamented how evangelism is dying in Christendom and how some men of God have outgrown the divine task, adding that the era of billboards and posters was gradually fading. He urged workers in the church not to remain stagnant but to embrace creativity and innovation to reach out to souls.

Eruemulor outlined ways to evangelize: ‘’Understand their needs, understand the prospect, invite them to church, and use your position, appearance and God-given talents to evangelize.’’
