The people of ward seven, Umuagu, Asaba, Delta State capital, have been enjoined to give massive support to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming local government elections.
The coordinator of Oshimili South Mandate (OSM), Adim Dikedi gave the advice when the leadership of the party visited the ward recently.
Dikedi urged them to do what they are known for by delivering credible candidates of the party.
He admonished them to ensure that the candidate of the party for chairmanship, Hon. Kelvin Ezenyili returns to office for a second term.
The pressure group coordinator said it was “for the love of what the former chairman had done for the people of Oshimili South during his first term, hence the group’s fervent campaign for him.
Some of the ward members who spoke with our reporter gave the assurance of total support towards the victory of the former chairman and the councilor representing the Ward, Chukwudi Okonji.
They said with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), they are sure of the victory of all PDP candidates as they hope for good governance in Oshimili South. Highlights of the ward to ward campaign visit were expressions of support from community leaders and youths for the PDP.
