THE Obi of Issele-Uku, Obi Nduka has urged governments at all levels to prioritize the welfare of the people and deliver on their promises amidst the current economic hardship across the country.
The monarch spoke during a courtesy call by the leadership of the state PDP at his Oligbo palace, urging governments at all levels to remain responsive to the people’s yearnings for a better life. “I ask that the PDP continues with the good governance of the state while offering my best wishes for a successful election, I am assured that the party’s leadership is in capable hands.
“However, I urge the candidates to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the people, delivering the fruits of democracy that our citizens rightly deserve. They should prepare to serve.”
