Maintain Decorum During Elections; Anukwu Tells Constituents

The Director of Security for Aniocha South Local Government Area Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Tony Anukwu, has called on the people of Aniocha South Local Government Area to maintain decorum before, during and after the Local Government Elections.

Anukwu, who is also a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor charged all PDP councillorship aspirants of the PDP in the area during the official flag-off of the Local Government Campaign for the second tenure of Pastor Jude Chukwunwike as the Chairman of Aniocha South by Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori represented by the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kingsley Esiso in Ogwashi-Uku.

The Campaign Security Director noted that peace is indispensable in any election, and appealed to the people of Aniocha South to come out on Election Day to vote for all candidates of the party. He said one of the policy thrusts of Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda is Enhanced Peace and Security, adding ‘’This is a priority of the PDP Chairmanship candidate which will help in promoting human capital development in Aniocha South LGA in particular, and Delta State in general.’’

He said that the first tenure of the Chairman of Aniocha South witnessed tremendous peace and security amongst the various clans that make up Aniocha South LGA namely Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu-Uku and Nsukwa clans.
