Majemite’s Journey From Death To Life: A Testament Of Thanksgiving

BY NELSON AGBAJOR

In a profound display of gratitude and faith, the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Jesus Solution Christian Bible Deliverance Ministry, fondly known as Solution City, Bishop Kingsley Majemite led a heartfelt thanksgiving service at the ministry’s headquarters in Elume, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

The service, marking the ministry’s 2024 Annual Mid-Year Thanksgiving, resonated with Psalm 106:1, “Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, and his mercies endure forever.” It was an emotional occasion where Bishop Majemite poured out his gratitude to Almighty God for delivering him from the jaws of death, recounting a harrowing experience where he faced severe challenges but emerged victorious through divine intervention.

Speaking to journalists, Bishop Majemite, affectionately referred to as Bishop Obeba, expressed profound appreciation for God’s protection over his life, his family, and his ministry. “I am here today, full of life with my family, to thank God for saving me from the brink of death, reflecting on the trying moments when he confronted mortality firsthand.  I witnessed firsthand the grace of God, which brought me back to life,” he said with deep conviction of his faith in God.

Emphasizing the importance of gratitude in spiritual life, Bishop Majemite highlighted the necessity of giving thanks as a fundamental practice. “Thanksgiving is not just an obligation; it is a spiritual discipline that we must cultivate,” he remarked. “I continually thank God for His countless blessings towards me and my ministry,” he affirmed, encouraging others to maintain unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

The occasion also featured a soul-stirring sermon by Pastor Great, who underscored the significance of gratitude in all circumstances. “Bishop Majemite exemplifies the power of thanksgiving, which God cherishes,” he proclaimed, leading the congregation in special prayers for Bishop Majemite, his family, and the entire Solution City community.

The event culminated in a celebratory atmosphere with the presentation of prestigious awards by the National Association of Okpe Students (NAOS) chapters from Delta State University Abraka and Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara.

Notable attendees included Evang (Mrs) Gladys Majemite, wife of the General Overseer; CSP Harrison Nwabusi, Divisional Police Officer, Sapele; and Comrade Nelson Agbajor, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel, among other dignitaries.

Bishop Majemite’s journey from near-tragedy to renewed life stands as a testament to the power of faith and gratitude, inspiring all who witnessed the occasion to cherish and celebrate God’s enduring mercies.
