THE Speaker, of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, has felicitated with the 1st vice chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council and Pere of Akugbene Mein kingdom in Bomadi Local Government Area of the state, Pere S. P. Luke, Kalanama VIII, on his 58th birthday.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, described Pere S. P. Luke, Kalanama VIII, as a great asset, not only to Delta State but the Niger Delta and beyond.
Guwor stated that he has always cherished and admired the statesmanship of the celebrant and his friendly disposition to people, stressing that the Akugbene Mein king, would remain a pride to Ijaw nation.
The Speaker on behalf of the State Legislature and constituents wished Pere S. P. Luke, Kalanama VII, the best life can offer as he celebrates his 58th birthday anniversary.
He stated that the peace in his kingdom is a testament to the Pere’s dedication and selflessness, while stressing the need to remain focused to attract greater development to the kingdom.
“Happy birthday to a revered monarch and a shining star of the Niger Delta. On behalf of the honourable members and staff of the Delta State House of Assembly, I congratulate you on this special day.
“I celebrate your leadership, which has brought prosperity and peace to your kingdom and the state. I commend your commitment to the well-being of your people.
“May this birthday be a celebration of many more years of good health and fulfillment. I pray that God Almighty grants you continued good health, wisdom, strength and direction on the throne”, Guwor stated.
