Late Edomwonyi, A Committed, Disciplined Police Officer, Says Owhovoriole

Delta State Attorney -General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ekemejero Ohwovoriole, has described late Pa Dennis Edomwonyi, father of the Director, Office of the Public Defender (OPD) in the State Ministry of Justice as a great, committed and disciplined police officer.

Ohwovoriole stated this in Benin City, Edo State capital during the burial ceremony of the deceased.

He said that it was a thing of joy for the children of the deceased to celebrate the life of their father, “who stood out for them in his lifetime”, stressing that he led the management and staff of Ministry of Justice to also celebrate the life of the deceased.

Ohwovoriole stated that the Director of Office of the Public Defender in the ministry, Mr. Ernest Edomwonyi “is a man to work with being a dedicated staff of the Ministry of Justice”, while he advised him to sustain those positive traits.

Edomwonyi described his departed father as his hero, a disciplinarian, who was hardworking as well as a straight forward individual.

While saying that his father was an exceptional police officer, Mr. Edomwonyi stated that he left innumerable  legacies.

He noted that his father did his job as a police officer with honesty and dedication, adding that his accomplishments and those of his siblings were as a result of the morals he inculcated in them.
