Former Okada Riders Appeal For Support

Former motorcycle riders in the Delta State capital, Asaba, have called on the state government for consideration so as to survive the present hardship in the country. The leader of the group, Mr. Mike Ifeadi made the call, yesterday, in Asaba, the state capital.

He said it was their means of livelihood as well as many families in the state. He said if the request is granted it will once again provide a means of survival for them, as it was the only source of their livelihood.

According to him, many of their members never opted to become motorcycle operators in life, if not for the hardship and need to survive.

He pleaded that they be given a second chance to do business in the state so as to be able to take care of their families and other needs.

Ifeadi urged the state government to see their plea for return to business as a means to consolidate on the MORE agenda of the state government.

He said it will also help reduce the rate of crime and other social devices in the state
