The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has secured endorsement from the people of Ugbodu, Ukwu-Nzu, Idumuogo, and Issele-Mkpitime communities in the Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The party’s campaign rally, graced by the Chairman of the Aniocha North PDP Campaign Council and Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi, witnessed an overwhelming show of support for Hon. Emma Chinye and all Councillorship candidates of the party.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Nwaobi expressed gratitude to party faithful and assured them of a new era in Aniocha North under PDP’s leadership.
He dismissed the possibility of any other political party gaining traction in the area, urging the people to remain loyal to PDP.
The Director General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Jaunty Okwudi, echoed similar sentiments, promising enormous benefits under Hon. Chinye’s leadership. He acknowledged that past administrators, including himself, cannot match Chinye’s potential, and praised the latter’s commitment to open-door policies and grassroots development.
The PDP Chairmanship candidate for Anicha North, Hon. Emma Chinye while addressing those present at the rally, explained the voting process and promised to fulfill the local government’s constitutional obligations.
Other party leaders also joined in motivating the people and assuring them of PDP’s capacity to improve lives at the grassroots level.
