THE Coordinator of a political pressure group, Oshimili South Mandate, Mr Adim Dikedi has described the Oshimili South Local Government Chairman, Hon Kelvin Ezenyili as a good man whose deeds earned him victory at the recent polls.
Dikedi, who made this known while speaking with our correspondent at the council in Asaba, said the achievements of Ezenyili from the council headquarters down to communities in the Local Government Area qualified him for a second term.
He said, “As one whom I have worked closely with, I will say he merited his victory at the just concluded election 100 per cent, and his return to office is meant to usher us into a new phase in the local government.’’
While thanking God, Dikedi said the re-election of Ezenyili was to restore the mandate of the council, adding that the council Chairman had done well during his first administration and would do more.
The coordinator of the pressure group said that Ezenyili’s cordial relationship with party leaders, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the people of Oshimili South would help him extend the dividend of democracy to the grassroots.
Expression delight, he said the fact that Ezenyili shares the same vision with the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, means he would consolidate on the MORE agenda.
He assured traders in the Ogbeogonogo Ultramodern Market to rest assured of the completion of the flood drainage channel which is undergoing construction in the state capital.
Dikedi said he was confident in the capacity of the council Chairman whom he also described as a promise keeper, even as he asked residents of Oshimili South to be observant of what the chairman would do in the next three years.
