Collaboration With NPC To Boost Workers Output, Prosperity –HoS

The Delta State Head of Service, Mr. Reginald Bayoko has said described the partnership with the National Productivity Center (NPC), as a pivotal move towards advancing the state’s progress and productivity within the civil and public service sectors.

Bayoko made this known, yesterday, during a courtesy visit by the NPC team, led by the State Coordinator, Mr. Banje Suru.

Speaking at the occasion, the Head of Service expressed optimism about the transformative potential of the collaboration, emphasizing the NPC’s role in enhancing service delivery across sectors. “Being the National Productivity Center, your work on productivity is fundamental across sectors to enhance the delivery of service. It is a central focus on what we stand for, especially at this pivotal moment in the history of the nation”.

Responding to the NPC Boss, Bayoko said: “By forging stronger ties with your center, I believe we can unlock a new avenue for growth and prosperity that will benefit Deltans and Nigerians at large. The training programs proposed will equip our workforce with the latest skills and techniques ensuring we remain at the cutting edge to deliver to our citizens and have a pride of place in the global space”.

Earlier in the discussions, NPC State Coordinator, Mr. BanjeSuru underscored the significance of establishing a productivity center in Delta State. He outlined the center’s potential to elevate productivity standards in both public and private sectors through targeted initiatives.

“The National Productivity Center has the responsibility of stimulating productivity consciousness, improvement, and performance in both the public and private sectors. Given this, the center solicits the support of the office of the Head of Service to open up an office in Delta State”, he explained. Mr.Suru emphasized that the proposed collaboration seeks to introduce a robust suite of initiatives, including comprehensive training programs, workshops, productivity coaching, mentoring in secondary schools, and consultancy services.

“These strategic initiatives are carefully designed to significantly enhance productivity indicators, optimize resource utilization, address incivility, and implement efficient productivity management systems to drive higher performance across all sectors,” he said.
