The President General of Ugbodu Development Union (UDU) Hon. Ndubuisi Osemene has asserted that the union would ensure peace and reconcile all aggrieved persons with the leadership of the Community.
Osemene, who asserted during the handover ceremony of the newly-elected Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, disclosed that the union has achieved a lot in that area in less than three months.
He said he inherited many litigations that were sapping the finances of the union, stressing that the community was involved in many court cases. In contrast, the union embarked on a peace process and the embattled individuals have accepted to reconcile with the monarch.
The President General further said that with his relationship with the new local government Chairman Hon. Emma Chinye, he would attract more development not only in Ugbodu but all other communities in the Aniocha North Local Government Area.
He urged Ugbodu sons and daughters, including non-natives resident in the community to toe the line of peace for progress and development to come to the town.
