THE federal high court in effurun judicial division, delta state has declared comrade enujeke ndidi sunday as the authentic chairman of the delta state chapter of the host communities of nigeria producing oil and gas (hostcom).
The judgment, delivered by justice dolor, recognized enujeke and his executive members, following a case brought by former chairman, sir gabriel isibelou, which was struck out due to lack of evidence.
The judgment, as expected, ignited a widespread jubilation among various ethnic nationality leaders of hostcom in delta state.
Comrade enujeke, who won the case, described the court decision as divine intervention for lasting peace to reign in delta state chapter of hostcom.
While addressing the press, he emphasized the unity of hostcom and expressed his commitment and determination to work with individuals, who were dedicated to the progress of hostcom in the state.
Enujeke, who was visibly overwhelmed with joy, also appreciated governor sheriff oborevwori of delta state and former governor arthur ifeanyi okowa for their support all through the legal battle.
Ethnic nationality leaders of hostcom in delta state, including those from urhobo, ijaw, itsekiri, isoko, ndokwa, ika, and the youth leader of ndokwa, who spoke to the press, welcomed the court’s decision, anticipating a new era of open doors and a positive future for hostcom in delta state.
